Jenza's Garden

Where Imagination Grows Wild!

This page is simply for Identification and Education. If you do start wild crafting (the gathering of plants and herbs in the wild) I would encourage you to do so on your own land or ask permission from owners. When I am at Bowdish I am respectful that this is private property that is kept as close to nature as it can by the owners. The only Wild Crafting I do there is with my Camera. Be respectful of where you are at. Be respectful to the Land, To the Plants and to those around you.
Never wild craft right off the road where levels of pollutants can be high. Never take from the first plant you see.  Always leave the Mother and Grandmother plants untouched to encourage more growth and to honor them. My rule of thumb is if I am harvesting from an area I never take enough so one will see a disturbance in that area.

The plants are broken down into categories of the color of their flowers. I find this is the easiest way for beginners to start recognizing plants. If you have any questions please contact me.

I am hoping to have a book by Fall of 2018 of these plants. The Wild Medicine of Bowdish.

NOTE: This page is still a work in Progress. I am not sure why when I upload some pics they turn sideways. Instead of driving myself crazy I am stepping away for a break.  With that being said they have not been label yet. When I fix the  sideways problem I will label.
